The subsidy scheme

The subsidy scheme for social safety in higher education and science supports institutions in creating a safe, inclusive and respectful learning and working environment.

The 2026 application period has now closed. The 2027 application period will run from 12 January at 9:00 a.m. until 12 February at 1:00 p.m. Universities, Universities of Applied sciences, PhD-, employee-, and student organisations can submit an application to promote social safety on campus, in the workplace, in the lecture hall or within a student/study association.

Every year, 4.4 million euros is available for the organisations and the steering group to submit grant applications.
